This is a collection of three separate experiences I did personally have. I have had a point where I hallucinated voices of women speaking nearby while I lie in bed. I did imagine the dolls looking at me, and I have experienced the last of which you’ll hear about in the recording. The only thing I could do to reset it was risk going back to sleep in the midst of feeling such danger.
Since then my grandmother has put away all the dolls, and replaced the artwork in the room to something of a “Back country Americana” look. I don’t miss the dolls for sure, but in a way they did remind me of what it felt like being a little kid and going to visit Grandma.
